GC Initial MC has a
coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) of 13.1x10
6 K-1 (25-500C). It has been adapted to classic
ceramic-metal alloys and their standardised
CTE.
This feature applies to all conventional alloy types,
irrespective of whether they contain silver, have a
reduced gold content or are palladium-based. Even
NEM and galvano crowns can be easily used for
veneering with ceramic.
The first dentine firing is carried out at 890C. This low starting temperature guarantees that there is no shrinkage during the firing process, even with high gold content alloys.
The feldspath portion and the excellent light- optical properties of this ceramic releases an enormously high aesthetic potential, even if you want to work with standard layering techniques for ease and quickness.
The very highest aesthetic demands can be met very economically and with a significantly low outlay.
Naturally, these properties are also important
for the proven sintering technique.
The typical strength of this feldspath ceramic and
its good etchability make GC Initial MC especially
well suited for sintering on refractory dies (GC
Cosmotech Vest).
Delicate ceramic restorations require a particular stability if they are to last. The excellent material properties of the GC ceramic line enable you to achieve perfect results with natural-looking aesthetics - always.
Full-ceramic work that has been pre-coated
with GC Initial MC metal-
ceramic can be completed with the low-fusing
system component GC Initial LF. It's no problem,
and the colour is always consistent.
